Car and dog stolen
Police are looking for a Yorkie stolen in the carjacking of a Honda near the LIE.

BAYSIDE, N.Y. -- A family is looking for their pet after their car was stolen with the dog still in it.

On Oct. 21, the family left the dog in the car for two minutes while they went into Imperial Taste Chinese restaurant on 221st Street and Horace Harding near the Long Island Expressway eastbound entrance in Bayside.

The 2006 navy blue Honda Accord with NYS plate FDG-2312 was stolen while they were gone.

The owner is offering a $1,000 reward for the return of the dog. The dog, named "Nutty", is a 4-year-old, fixed male Yorkshire terrier. He is 9 pounds with black and tan coloring. The dog is wearing a blue harness with black trim.

Nutty does not have any tags on him.
