Saturday is last day for early voting in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Saturday is the final day of early voting for the Chicago municipal election, including the race for Chicago mayor. Election day is Tuesday, Feb. 24.

Current Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, who is running for reelection, took advantage of early voting and cast his ballot on Friday at the Board of Elections headquarters at 69 West Washington. Candidate Willie Wilson also voted early. The other four candidates say they will wait until election day.

As of Friday, about 60,000 people had voted early.
