UberCHOPPER comes to Chicago for Valentine's Day weekend

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Uber is offering free helicopter rides to Chicagoans Saturday afternoon through a partnership between Uber and Chicago Helicopter Experience.

Between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, you can use your Uber app to request a free 15-minute ride by selecting the "chopper" option. If a helicopter ride is available when you request, you will be picked up in a free Uber and taken to the heliport.

Uber says it's the perfect afternoon activity for adventurous sweethearts.

Chicago Helicopter Experience is known for its tours of Chicago's skyline and coastline, as well as transportation services in and around the Chicago area.
