EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- A nurse helped a passenger who stopped breathing on a Southwest Airlines flight heading to Chicago.
Flight 467 from Denver to Midway diverted to Omaha early Tuesday afternoon after the 85-year-old woman went into cardiac arrest.
The crew asked for medical help and Lindsey Kilsdonk jumped into action. She is an ICU nurse at Evanston Hospital.
The woman was rushed to a hospital in Omaha. Kilsdonk says her prognosis is not good, and she didn't have a pulse for 20 minutes.
