Teen hits 3 relatives with car, killing father, on West Side, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are looking for a teenage boy who allegedly hit three of his relatives with his vehicle, killing his father, Saturday night in the Austin neighborhood, officials said.

The incident happened in the 5400-block of West Kamerling around 11:15 p.m., police said.

The 39-year-old father, identified as Terrell Peters, died as a result of his injuries at Stroger Hospital around 12:02 a.m. Sunday, officials said. Another man and woman who were hit are in stable condition.

The teenager had gotten into a fight with his family before police said he intentionally hit the relatives with the vehicle.
