Chance the Rapper to perform at National Christmas Tree Lighting

WASHINGTON (WLS) -- Hometown hip-hop favorite Chance the Rapper will be one of the performers at the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony this year.

Performers were announced Wednesday and also include Kelly Clarkson and Yolanda Adams.

Chance, 23, hails from Chicago's West Chatham neighborhood and remains closely connected to the city. He recently held his first music festival, Magnificent Coloring Day, at U.S. Cellular Field.
