Cardinal George home after release from hospital

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Francis Cardinal George has been released from the hospital and is back home Saturday night after spending nearly a week at Loyola University Medical Center.

Doctors admitted the cardinal last Sunday because he had trouble walking. He was supposed to return home on Thursday, but doctors kept him for additional tests.

The cardinal stopped experimental treatment for kidney cancer more than a month ago.
