HINSDALE, Ill. (WLS) -- The 26th Annual Hinsdale Pet Walk is being held Sunday afternoon despite rain and bad weather now that the worst of the storms has passed.
Every year, thousands of animals are left in shelters, unable to find home. But the Hinsdale Humane Society is trying to change that.
On Sunday, June 7, they are hosting their 26th annual Pet Walk to find homes for forgotten pets. The walk begins at 9 a.m. at Katherine Legge Memorial Park, 5901 S. County Line Road in Hinsdale.
To tell us more about the event and how to help animals, Lori Halligan and Mistie Lucht from the Hinsdale Humane Society joined us live from the Pet Walk.
