Barricade situation ends on Southwest Side near 21st, Leavitt

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A barricade situation in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the city's Southwest Side has ended.

Officers were seen taking cover behind an armored police truck in the 2100-block of S. Leavitt.

Police said the man who held officers at bay for several hours was arrested without incident on Wednesday afternoon.

No one was injured.
