Photos taken on Wednesday around 2:45 p.m. show a pair of men pull a daredevil stunt on top of the Marriott Hotel on the Magnificent Mile.

Public relations executive Travis Schoening took photos from his office after a colleague ran into his office and told him to look outside.

"A minute later the one guy started to go over and just held on by his arms and that's when we started going, man, that's crazy," Schoening said.

Schoening says the pair were visible on the roof for about three minutes. Only the man in the red hat went over. His partner was using a sophisticated camera.

"They were very nonchalant about it, so it looked to me like they had done it before. It was just like automatic," Schoening said.

Marriott did not respond to a request for comment.

The incident follows a rooftop death at the Intercontinental Hotel in 2012, when a man with unauthorized access fell down a chimney.
